Mountain (山) by Sergei Pavlov is a black-and-white photography book, printed and bound in Tokyo by HAKKO Bijutsu.
‘The work is autobiographical, documenting everyday life with my Japanese partner while we were both working long hours in Tokyo: myself in a busy restaurant in the Ginza area, and my partner in a local factory. We often escaped the mundane daily life on short weekend trips to various places to create photographs and, through that, find creative and spiritual meaning in our lives.’
