ROOMS began in 2017 when Greta started photographing her friends, acquaintances, and strangers lying nude in their bedrooms. Sometimes Greta would ask the women what they dreamt about the night before. Sometimes they could remember; most of the time they couldn’t. The portraits, shot at close encounter, radiate the warmth of presence and mutual recognition.
