The present incarnation of the shop is ethereal and light-footed; there is no permanent space but instead a series of occasional projects presented alongside friends in different international settings. (Claire En Plein Air was an outdoor bookshop project held in the Summer of 2018 in collaboration with London-based gallery Soft Opening... Claire de Rouen in LA was a pop-up for Max Farago in his Downtown studio/ exhibition space). Claire de Rouen is an organic and responsive endeavour.

DELIVERY

We recycle our packaging when we can, and use biodegradable bubble wrap.

We pack all books for shipment with care, for their local and international delivery. For smaller purchases such as zines and small softcover books, we post in a book mailer, usually as a Large Letter (with Royal Mail).
Larger, heavier orders will be wrapped in extra bubble wrap with care taken to ensure the corners of the books cannot be damaged.
Unframed prints and polaroids will be shipped flat with adequate protection against bending, marking and denting. Or, if larger, will be carefully rolled into a protective tube. Framed prints will be shipped on a case by case basis.
 
For domestic shipping, the estimated time of arrival is indicated when the shipping option is selected by the customer. The delivery time is listed in working days, not calendar days. This is not guaranteed, but we will always endeavour for orders to arrive on time.
Within London, a same day service is available before 3pm for an additional cost.
For international shipping, expect 5-7 days outside of the EU. And possibly longer for shipments to the East.
 
Insurance is not always included within the UK - it must be selected at the checkout. We do not accept responsibility for lost or damaged parcels when the customer has chosen the uninsured shipping method.
Insurance is usually included in international shipping costs outside of the EU.

PRIVACY

We are honoured to able to communicate with you and respect your privacy. We keep your data safe and don't share it with any third party marketing companies. We only contact you to let you know about new material we have in stock, special events and external projects established by Lucy Kumara Moore (Claire de Rouen Director).
