Brilliant Scenes is a collection of photographs by Japan's world-renowned photographer Shoji Ueda. In the era when photographers who were active at the same time after the war flew around the world, while looking at their hometown Tottori as the place of life, they searched for avant-garde photographic expressions while incorporating the local climate and culture.
The work is rich in light Japanese feeling and originality, and many modern illustrations that go to the present age are described as "UEDA-CHO / Ueda-like" and are highly evaluated worldwide.
