Parklife is an independent publication on outdoor spaces, curated by Paola Ristoldo and Alessandro Furchino Capria. Launched in April 2023 in London and published annually, the magazine explores both ordinary and unusual places through visual and literary narratives. It delves into the inherent human need to create, inhabit, and shape territories—spaces that become extensions of our identity.
Why does humanity feel the need to design these spaces? How are they experienced?
Through an authorial approach and featuring unpublished projects, Parklife presents the work of thirteen artists alongside a conversation between an architect and a designer. Together, they investigate the concept of the park as a setting for everyday life. These varied perspectives reimagine green spaces and their inhabitants as integral urban landscape elements. Parklife offers a refuge from urban sprawl.
