Voyeur is a compact representation of society as an image spectacle. It offers a sprawling taxonomy of vernacular photography, featuring images from every conceivable genre—crime, fashion, sports, advertising, and more. The variety of sources, primarily from the twentieth century, is just as diverse. These images are presented in a scrapbook style, with miniaturized black-and-white half-tone reproductions.
"Voyeur trawls the image wreckage of our consumer-driven culture, making eccentric or sinister juxtapositions and cataloging the blandness of media bombardment to render its toxic assault visible to us, its near-helpless voyeurs."
