David Nash, born in 1945 in Esher, Surrey, is one of Britain's most prolific sculptors and land artists. In the late 1960s, Nash moved to the remote village of Blaenau Ffestiniog in North Wales, where he is still based. Nash's work is held in over 80 public collections worldwide, including the Victoria and Albert Museum, London; Tate, London; Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York; Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo.
