Takashi Homma takes inspiration from Ed Ruscha’s artist’s book ’Babycakes with Weights’.
Homma’s matter-of-fact monochrome photographs show various sorts of Japanese cakes and candies, each photo supplied with the weight of the respective sweet, plus one actual baby (8600 gram).
