Caragh Thuring, Some Men *signed

Some Men presents images side by side, of the front and back of a set of vintage postcards that Caragh bought from a second-hand shop in Brooklyn. They are all typed, and Caragh was attached to the objectivity of type, compared to handwritten script. They document what she describes as a 'furtive love affair' between 2 men living in Chicago and Brooklyn in the mid-to-late 80s, she was drawn to the covert aspect of their correspondence and also to the way the postcards describe the universally-experienced arc of a love affair.

The cover of the book is based on the old Dutch passport (which Caragh used to have, since she is half Dutch). It is made with 1930's paper and the title is punch stamped on the cover.

Edition of 20 + 2 AP, signed and numbered.
