Jermaine Francis, Rhythms From the Metroplex *signed
We're very proud to be exclusive stockists of the latest publication by London-based photographer Jermaine Francis, Rhythms From the Metroplex is a visual essay, a short study on the multiplicity of, and agonistic exchange between, rhythms in the city. A journey through space and time, the book records moments—encountered in the streets of New York and London before the Covid-19 outbreak—that point to competing and unfixed narratives, to the complexity, messiness and transitory character of life in urban spaces.
Published in September 2021.
Limited edition of 130 copies, signed.
The Claire de Rouen copies are the only ones to include a poem, written by Francis's friend Irfan Masters and printed onto a light sheet of folded tissue, inserted into the book.
