Raymond Meeks, Seven Kinds of Loneliness
This November, publisher STANLEY/BARKER launches a new Portfolio series.
Each portfolio operates similarly to a book, playing close attention to sequence, layout and form - however in a shorter form, and lower edition allowing for the finest and most unique materials to be used, from silver prints to bronze casts.
Raymond Meeks is an American photographer whose work focuses on memory and his daily life. His new publication ‘Seven Kinds of Loneliness’ is presented as a wooden tray, with an acrylic lid, hand crafted by the artist. It contains seven broadsides, each of which shows two tipped on silver prints, in addition to a larger loose silver print.
Launching with Claire de Rouen on November 12, 6.30-8.30pm, at Bistrotheque, Wadeson Street, E2. All welcome.
