'The collection debuts seven new works developed over theearly part of 2021 by Mica Levi and a working group of performers during a residency at Cafe Oto. Using written text instructions, speech rhythm techniques and visual cues these pieces are open to players with no previous musical experience, and incorporate elements such as spoken word, light and movement. ‘star star star’ puts the emphasis on the player and the group, whether that be on stage or at home, and shares a DIY spirit of openness and possibility.
