An undoubtedly glorious and delicious issue, perhaps the most beautiful yet.
Luncheon issue 6 includes a conversation over lunch with painter Kerry James Marshall, Cheryl Lynn Bruce and Angela Choon talking about the artist’s upcoming exhibition at David Zwirner, as well as photographs by Snowdon of Arthur Mitchell's Dance Theatre of Harlem, taken in 1972. These have been selected by Grace Wales Bonner and are accompanied by a piece by Hilton Als, alongside a text from Wales Bonner, too.
Claire de Rouen Director Lucy Kumara Moore has written a text on the female body in response to newly commissioned images by Julia Hetta. Moore's words adorn the spine: 'Flesh is there to be held, and kissed'.
