BODY

What’s on your body? Clothes of course.. and here are some of the books on fashion we like the most.

But also, what is your body? How do we choose, now, to represent it, describe it, value it? How does movement or pose might indicate a cultural position, for example? Do we invite technology to exert a tyranny over the body. We're interested in how the feminine body in particular is a constantly changing presence. How the masculine body carries the pressure of archetypes. How pornography has cultivated desire for a fictional, virtual body. What does self-care mean? Is it right to conceive of the body as separate from the mind? Have you looked at our books on 'psyche'?
