‘Sleep’ consists of images from a hotel room during a residency project in Bangkok. The images attempt to capture how time and behaviour emerge in a confined space. Despite the coming and going of people in and out of the room, there is nothing residual that claims their presence. There is little movement of the articles in the room. The furnitures and curtains stay still, except for the bed covers. Through time, space and behaviour - every day, the bed covers presents itself in a different form, changing its shape as if a living sculpture.
